Ted's Funeral and Medical Expenses

Ted (Nene) had been battling cancer for over a year and after the second unsuccessful chemo treatment, he finally lost the struggle to survive on Christmas Eve.   This was completely unexpected by our family as we thought he would make it through this and were planning a big family get together for Christmas. Ted was a strong man as he had overcome more than one surgery and illness including diabetes. These illnesses also made it impossible for him to acquire life insurance leaving Wilda with no financial help to handle the funeral and medical expenses.

He was a husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He was married to Wilda for 37 years and had plans for their 40th but he died the day before their 37th anniversary which would have been on Christmas Day.

Due to the lack of life insurance, extensive cancer procedures not covered and only one income by his wife, we are asking for financial assistance to cover his medical and funeral expenses as well as to prevent the loss of their home they have built together.  We understand our goal is a large sum, we are trying to prevent her from having to deal with any additional loss on top of the most difficult one a wife has to face in life. He was her best friend.
