Support Thang's Cancer Journey

Hello, I'm Lan Ngo from Canada. My best friend, Thang Nguyen, is an instructor at FPT university in Hanoi, Vietnam. He has just found out that he had lung cancer. Fortunately, his disease was detected early. During surgery, his lung mass was removed and he will continue cancer treatments for a long time to come as the doctor said. The expense of his care is starting to weigh heavily on him and his family. I wish if he stay in Canada, he would have health insurance and some non-profit organizations will assist him and his family. However, because Vietnam is a developing nation with subpar social services, his tiny lecturer's salary was insufficient to pay for his treatments. Therefore, I'm launching this GoFundMe to support Thang as he fights cancer. Donating to "Thang's Cancer Journey" will assist with daily living costs, bills, medication, as well as any other unforeseen costs that come up as he is recovering and returning to regular life with his wife and a young boy. Donating allow Thang and his family to have peace of mind about his finances, and let him focus all of his energies on recovering physically and mentally from this experience!
