Jody Is Retiring from ΔΣΦ

College is a time of learning, great experiences and meeting new people. Many college students cherish their new found independence, away from home and welcome a new autonomous lifestyle.
Many students participate in different organizations to enrich their time at the University level. If you are reading this, you, a friend of yours or a loved one has had their college career connected in some way to our organization: Delta Sigma Phi-Theta Rho at the University of Oregon. As a chapter of approximately 95 brothers we come from around the United States to one common location in Eugene, Oregon: 1306 East 18th.
Over the past 13 years there has been one constant at 1306.
Some lean on her for advice in times of hardship. Others rely on her when they are feeling under the weather. Some soak up the history of Theta Rho and pick her brain about her time at the UO.
She entered 1306 13 years ago as our cook and is leaving at the end of this year as our house mom. At the end of this year our beloved house mom, Jody Boles, will be hanging up her apron and retiring.
Jody has given the Delta Sig brothers so much & we would love to repay that favor by providing her with a retirement gift.
When asked what she wanted to do once she retires Jody listed these items/experiences:
1. Travel to Fiji. The blue water is calling her name.
2. Invest time in her own artwork
3. Spoken word/slam poetry
4. Buy herself a new stove. After cooking for many years for others, we would love to be able to provide Jody with a new stove.
Jody has impacted many people throughout her time with us: current and former members, our brothers' families, our friends in sororities, alumni and anyone who has tasted one of her delicious pastries.
Please consider giving back to Jody so she can experience some of her wish list items.
