The Big Red Ride
July 17th 2020.
This date would be my brother's 32nd birthday. As you will all know very well by now he never got to see his 26th birthday let alone his 32nd. All thanks to everyone's old nemesis Cancer.
Now in recent months there has been new kid on the block the Coronavirus or Covid-19, has invaded all our lives and forced us to stay home. We have all been threatened by this terrible pandemic, but those currently with Cancer have been living in so much more threat because of it.
So thats why this July 17th I will be riding 200miles (321km) on my bike to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Here's the thing I won't be leaving my back garden.. I will be cycling the full 200 miles on a stationary bike. This is a distance that I have never done before and this is a challenge unlike anything I have tried before.
I will be spending the next 9 weeks training vigorously to make sure I have the best fighting chance of achieving this goal and on the day I will be live streaming the event, either for the whole time or just for segments. So tune in wear something Red and watch me suffer for a really longtime.
So please Please PLEASE, donate to help those who need our help more than ever.
My suffering is a privilege..... Theirs is not.
Thank you
James
