In 2020, after centuries of degradation, the world is finally seeing the disparities in racial justice. Even knowing this, black and brown dollars all too often still ends up in the pockets of people who do not respect us. It is time to start investing in ourselves, but how?
The first step is being able to FIND minority-owned businesses in order to support one another. We are raising money dedicated to doing just that! We are building an app that connects black and minority owned businesses with anyone who wants to consciously uplift the black economy. We first and foremost are dedicated to investing in and building our communities.
Money raised will go to:
Cost and labor of creating the app
Scaling and populating the app &
Marketing to get the word out through Ads, Influencers, PR, etc
The Black Rising App app will be a directory for black & minority owned businesses across the country that will allow you to see and search for the businesses that you want to support. It will even notify you of new minority-owned businesses in your local area as they are established, and advertise for them as well.
This platform is the first step to growing wealth in the black community. Every dollar is greatly appreciated and will go toward changing the future for millions of black people. Additionally, if you or someone you know owns a minority-owned business, please send your business, email, website, & address along with your donation. You will automatically be added into the database at the launch of the app.
The time is now for change and economic and social justice in our communities.
