The family of Quinten Wilson

From Dad: “Quinten Wilson was jumping on the trampoline April 2,2020 and was attempting a triple front flip and came down and landed right on top of his head and immediately lost all movement in his body! We called 911 and they rushed him into the hospital and started doing scans and tests and found that he had actually broken his neck and his C4 vertibre had dislodged and was sitting in front of his C5! The C4 is life or death and controls all motor functions, diaphragm, breathing so it is very serious! He could not even move his shoulders at the time! He started moving his left shoulder about a half inch before emergency surgery! He was on a ventilator and that has since been removed and he is alert and can talk and now has feelings to his elbows and can lift his arms! They are saying might be a few more days before we truly know the extent of the injuries! He says his hands feel cold all of the sudden but still can’t move them but to me that’s a sign feeling is coming back! During Covid 19 he isn’t allowed any visitors but me so please don’t come and please just pray with Faith that he makes a full recovery as he will have a very long hard road ahead of him! If you know him at all you know how strong he is and how he is a tremendous athlete and I have not doubt he will make a full recovery because I worship a Mighty God and The Almighty God! Let’s please surround my son with positive words, thoughts and prayers as this is only a curveball and he will adapt and conquer! Thank you all for the prayers and overflow of love and support! God Bless!“ This fundraiser is to raise money for medical costs to include rehabilitation for Quinten and time off for Don and Jenie as they also have Cade, Harley, Mickie, Colton and Grady that need support from Mom and Dad. All benefits go directly to Don, Jenie and Quinten during this time.
Update: Quinten is now at a Rehab facility in Colorado. His parents are currently having to make several changes to their home in order to make it handicap accessible. Everyone knows that these changes cost huge amounts of money. He is making strides but this family still has a long road ahead of them. Please donate any amount you can and keep them in your prayers. Our God is mighty!
