At 11:45am on May 4th my younger sister called me hysterically crying that the house had caught on fire. By the Time I arrived 20 minutes later my Childhood Home was engulfed in flames. All that remains are the charred remnants of what was the home my father has built over the last 18 years. Thankfully my sister and the pets made it out in time but that is the only thing that made it out. Besides for the clothes on their backs everything was taken by the fire from personal possessions to clothing to even car keys. The home is a complete loss with nothing to be salvaged. Those who know my father know that he will put you before himself and the doors to his home were open to anybody that needed it. Now that door is gone and I'm asking the community to help me get this fund going to get them back on their feet. Yesterday was a very devastating day for the family and watching them walk through the ashes of what was their home just that morning will forever haunt me. My Father is not one to ask for help so I am taking it upon myself to stretch all resources possible no matter how thin they may be. Depending on how much is raised the funds will be used from getting the essentials they need to getting the site cleaned up and hopefully be able to rebuild.
