Lucas Larsen Fund

As one of Karen's closest friends, everyone has asked what they can do?  Supporting Karen's beloved son Lucas would be Kardeltaen's fondest wish. Here is a special way to do this:    The Lucas Larsen Fund

Lucas is a 17 year old son who lost his beautiful mom Karen Larsen on the morning of November 6th,  2015. His loving and kind mom Karen  was diagnosed in 2013 with stage four ovarian cancer. After treatment she lived cancer free for one and half years but the evil came back with a vengeance in late August. 
Karen had many hats over her life. The most  prominent were her services as a flight attendant for Pan American Airways/ Delta Airlines and as a real estate agent. Lucas  was born later in her life.  She continued to fly until her real estate career could support them in 2008.  
As with most single moms,  she was always working hard to give Lucas his best life.  Lucas is a straight A student at Redondo Union High School. He plans to go to college  and become a doctor. Lucas is an avid surfer, skate boarder and soccer fan. (Denmark is a favorite as he has family there) Karen was so proud of him.
He  will be able to stay in his own home with his best friend's family until he graduates. Lucas  is also comforted by their Border Collie, Daisy.
The money raised will be used for living expenses and to attend college. .
