The Ultimate AHFO Fundraising Team Challenge.

Poverty, poor physical and mental health, poor living conditions, child obesity, community breakdowns and divisions, isolation and addictions. Positive change involves every single one of us stepping up in unity.

1000 MILE CYCLE CHALLENGE - MOUNT SNOWDON WALK - ABSEIL ANFIELD STADIUM - OTTERSPOOL TO STANLEY PARK WALK

These epic challengers will be held between February and July 2024 , all of the children who are involved with AHFO will be getting involved in up to four really challenging fundraising events over the coming months.

It's important to us that children who receive support right throughout the year with incredible days out and activities play their part in raising money towards this summers exciting plans.. The challenges are also a great way to work as a team, increase health & fitness, build confidence and self esteem, promote leadership and communication and shows the power of togetherness working towards a common goal. The money raised is going towards our AHFO Wales Summer 2024 residential trip and our summer holiday activities which include big days out, family days, beach days and outdoor activities. As you can imagine the costs mount up paying for entry fees, coaches, food and drink for between 50 and 70 people.

1000 MILE CYCLE CHALLENGE On a static bike at our AHFO community hub, each child will have to cycle around 20 miles in order to complete the challenge in less than a month.

MOUNT SNOWDON WALK A number of the children will be joining our annual Snowdon walk this summer with their parents. The climb is really challenging and a test of endurance for the kids who attempt it.

ABSEILING ANFIELD A group of 10 children will be scaling the huge main stand at Anfield stadium and courageously abseiling down the side of it!! True test of their young nerves this.

OTTERSPOOL TO STANLEY PARK WALK A chance for all of our children and their families to get involved and walk from Otterspool prom all the way along the water front, through Liverpool City Centre and up to Stanley Park in Anfield. We should be walking close to 10 miles on the day.
