‘The eve of nigh’. A show about the start of the end.

Hello.

I’m Stewart Lodge, comedian, compère and poet/songwriter.

You might know me from Cabaret BoomBoom in Walkley or you might have seen me in the pound bargains shop.

I want to produce a live poetry, music and comedy show involving 4 Sheffield based artistes.

Me.

Richard Masters - singer songwriter folk musician…was in a band called Poke.

Stan Skinny - comedian, poet, character actor…Fish Pie theatre.

and one other, probably a really good violinist.

The theme of the show is ‘The end of the world’. Which I feel very strongly about, as someone who likes living in the world.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. It’s not just about the fires, floods and locusts. It’s also going to be celebrating the period before ‘the end’. The moment when, at the precipice, change can happen…because it must.

And sometimes change can be scary, so it’ll be a bit about that too.

The funds I raise will help to cover venue hire, publicity and performers fees.

It should be a fun night out. if you are someone who also thinks about the world ending then please help this event to happen by making a small donation.
