The kids at biblioteca luz keep asking…..

Biblioteca Luz is a small free library in El Salvador that serves all of the kids, parents, siblings, primos, and even the local street pups (los aguacateros;) that have come to regard our library as a Safe Space in the neighborhood of El Morral, Puerto de la Libertad. 

Our kids are bright, brilliant and growing fast! And we need your help to make this new space one that we are all proud of! We finally have a permanent home for the books, the legos, the frozen costumes, and the bean bags but we weren't quite prepared for the amount of work the space would need to re-open…..So, we started small. 

We Painted. 

We hired an electrician to install three large fans. 

We fixed the lighting. 

But We still need help with the toliet, floor and windows. After these fixes, it won't be fancy, but it will be functional and we can open up our doors, to the kids who have been asking everyday:

Cuando, Cuando, Cuando?! 

(When?! When?!When!!!)
