Mission Trip to Gilgil Kenya

I hope that God is doing as many wonderful things in your life as He is in mine. I’m having a wonderful year and feel God working in my life every day. In January 2016 I answered the call to serve on my first mission trip and spent an amazing week in the Bahamas with the Bahamas Methodist Habitat fixing roofs, helping in the community and growing closer to God. The week changed me in ways I had never imagined and helped me grow spiritually. I now find myself being more confident and closer in my relationship with the Lord, and continue to feel the call to serve God by being his hands and feet elsewhere.

During October 22 – November 5, 2016 I will be answering my call by going to Gilgil, Kenya with a team from the Susquehanna United Methodist Conference. Our two week trip will focus on working at two orphanage schools and a medical clinic. We will be working with the Trinity United Methodist Church, Mission High School, and hospital in Gilgil on construction, gardening (helping to expand food plot for orphanages), teaching and more.
I’m excited about this opportunity and the experiences that lie ahead. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires both financial and prayer support from many people. In order for me to serve God in this call, I need to raise $3,000 by September 30, 2016. If you could support me in a financial way I would be very grateful. More importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow me to be successful as I follow God's call in ministry in Kenya. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
