On February 28th, my brother, Tim Coons, suffered a severe stroke. That has left him partially paralyzed on his left side. He has shown great courage and has been in a rehab center undergoing physical therapy.
His only desire is get back to normal and live an independent life.
Unfortunately his insurance coverage was not very good and only covered two weeks in the rehab center. They have informed him that he will have to leave and secure much-needed physical therapy on his own.
Tim is a modest person and would never ask for help. He lives a modest life. He has sold everything he had of value and that did not even cover his deductible on the medical expenses he has incurred so far.
My family and I are helping as much as possible with the bills he has incurred, but the therapy he needs is expensive. Based on expected costs, our goal is to raise $15,000.
