Tim Davis
Hi, I'm Tim Davis. I moved to Duluth in 2004 to be closer to family. My mom, sisters, niece, and nephew all live in the Duluth area. I studied at the College of St. Scholastica and have held a variety of different jobs during my time here, including working in the mental health field as a contract employee for the State of Minnesota. Most recently I've been independently employed, doing landscaping and consulting work.
About a year and a half ago, I sustained an injury that significantly impacted my ability to work and has resulted in several ongoing medical appointments and treatments. My income has gone down, but my expenditures have gone up.
Over Labor Day weekend, things went from challenging to overwhelming. I noticed blood in the toilet and wound up in the ER when the bleeding didn't stop. I am currently in the process of working with my doctors to figure out what is wrong and what my next steps should be.
As of right now, I have a heart procedure scheduled for early October, and I’m seeing an oncologist at the end the month. Between the inability to work and receive income, the many trips to the Cities for medical procedures, and the medical and other bills that continue to slam me, I’m in need of some help.
It isn't easy to ask, but here I am - requesting assistance through this GoFundMe site for my travel to and from the Twin Cities for medical care, as well as for medical and other bills. I would very much appreciate any support you may be able to provide. Thank you, Tim.
