Help Tim and his wife fight cancer

My brother's wife, Minette, was diagnosed with stage 4 (terminal) breast cancer last summer. It had metastasized to most of her liver, some bones and part of her spine. Her healthcare options in the US were limited to palliative care. After much research, they found a treatment center in Istanbul Turkey that uses a combination of diet, nutrition, chemotherapy and thermal therapy that is not yet available in the US. They have seen many wonderful success stories! Her initial PET scan showed cancer throughout the body. Another PET scan 4 months later showed NO active cancer tumors in any organs or bones. This treatment is not covered by insurance. They have spent over $100 thousand so far. Tim lost his job of eighteen years, put his small investment property up for sale and is planning to sell their home. Their family has provided a considerable amount of money. The  treatments must continue for the next couple months, and then intermittently for an unknown duration. Because of huge fluid retention problems (ascites), Minette cannot travel home for some time to come. They may need to remain in Turkey for the next year or so. Tim is working full time on her treatment now, but may have to find work in Turkey as future treatments become less frequent. Future treatments and living or travel expenses could exceed what they have already spent. Tim had a great job and they were very careful with money and investments, but their future will now be like starting all over again. Minette is a strong fighter, and her health is all they can think about right now. I felt their many friends and family would appreciate a way to help them with donations.
