Hello my name is Suzie AKA Tinsel The Elf.
I am the founder of Enchantica’s & The Harrogate Father Christmas Experience. We specialise in making educational theatre and immersive events, and passionately spend all year round making magic for all ages to enjoy.
The Harrogate Father Christmas Experience is designed to bring North Pole magic to life for the whole family to enjoy and is hosted at our very own Elf Village at Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate.
Alongside these shows we have a community fund supported by local businesses, organisations and individuals who contribute to help us share even more magic for our community to enjoy.
This fund allows us to deliver:
The Green Elf Project - an educational theatre show for local schoolchildren to enjoy, all about sustainability, especially “at Christmas!”
VIP Christmas Lunches & Entertainment for the elderly
Funded shows for local parent-led charity The Unity.
And NEW for 2024
Our well-loved Christmas Community Entertainment Programme for the Harrogate Christmas Fayre…
For the past two years we have facilitated the community acts wishing to perform at the Harrogate Christmas Fayre. This also includes creating opportunities for people to be a part of the entertainment programme who normally would not have the chance. In 2023 we facilitated a programme which saw over 300 local people to perform at the Harrogate Christmas Fayre and involved all ages from infant-aged children all the way through to members of our elderly community.
This year, due to changes in available funding, we now need to secure extra funding to enable us to deliver this well-loved community inclusive element of the Harrogate Christmas offering.
Without our help there will be no schools or local community groups or acts performing at the Fayre … and with your help… even the smallest of contributions… we hope too reach our goal of being able to deliver ALL the magic our community so loves and benefits from … including the Fayre entertainment programme! Whooop!
