Together for LA: Fisher Family Wildfire Aid

Hi, I’m Chloe Fisher.

Many of you may know me from the Darling, Shine! podcast. I split my time between Australia and the US, where my husband works as a DJ.

Los Angeles has become our second home, and it’s heartbreaking to watch from afar as wildfires devastate Southern California. So many of our friends and loved ones have been directly impacted, and the destruction is unimaginable.

These fires have claimed lives, displaced families, killed beloved pets, destroyed homes, and ravaged California’s beautiful national parks. Like many Aussies, I feel a deep need to take action.

Over the past few days, I’ve been overwhelmed by messages from people who, like me, feel helpless and don’t know where to donate.

That’s why I’m launching this fundraiser—to personally ensure that donations are directed toward helping those affected by these devastating fires and supporting LA’s recovery.

After consulting with experts to ensure the funds raised will have maximum impact and go directly to those in need, I will be sending donations to:

1/ GoFundMe.org

They will distribute cash grants directly to those impacted by the Southern California (U.S.) wildfires. The money is sent directly to verified individuals who qualify and are fundraising for themselves or on behalf of someone else.

IF you are someone or know someone who has been affected by this tragedy you can apply for a grant here to receive a portion of the funds raised.

2/ Wildlife & Animals

The remaining portion of the funds raised will be donated to a wildlife and animal rescue organisation to support the countless animals affected by the wildfires. I’m currently researching the best charity to ensure the donation has the greatest impact and will share updates in the coming days once the decision has been made.

Every single donation, no matter how small, is meaningful. Together, we can show up for those in crisis and let them know they’re not alone.

I will keep all donors updated on how and where the funds are distributed in the coming days and weeks.

Lastly, if you’re unable to donate, you can still make a huge difference by sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community. Together, we can amplify our impact and provide critical support to those who need it most.
