On October 26, our family’s world was shaken when Toni, a father of 4, was shot twice at a gas station in New Orleans. News Article
The bullets caused extensive damage to his organs, and while we are beyond grateful that Toni is still with us, the road ahead will be long and challenging. His recovery will take at least six months, and he will need ongoing medical care and daily support.
Toni is the proud father of four beautiful children—Blake, Amir, Ahmad, and Asaiah. His children are his entire world. As their sole provider, he has always worked tirelessly to ensure they have everything they need. One of Toni’s sons is autistic, and Toni has faithfully covered the costs of his therapies that are not supported by insurance.
For the last five years, Toni has built a career in the field as a dedicated pipefitter, working his way up from helper to foreman. He takes pride in his work and in the life he has built for his family. Unfortunately, because his position is contract-based, Toni does not have access to benefits such as FMLA, short-term disability, or insurance coverage to help during this unexpected time.
Toni is a family man through and through. He loves providing for his children, spending quality time with them, and fishing when he gets the chance to unwind. Now, he needs our collective strength and support to help him heal and continue providing for those he loves most.
We are humbly asking for any financial support you can give. Your donations will help Toni and his children stay afloat with everyday necessities, medical costs, and household bills while he focuses on his recovery.
Our family is deeply grateful for your prayers, generosity, and words of encouragement during this time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Toni and believing in his healing and restoration.
