Tracy's Neurosurgery War Chest
Donation protected
On a Sunday morning, last November, my dear friend and college classmate Tracy was airlifted to a neurosurgery ICU. She learned that not only had she thankfully survived a brain bleed (subarachnoid hemorrhage – brainstem stroke) due to a ruptured aneurysm earlier that day, but that there are also actually two aneurysms still lodged in her brain (behind her right eye).
After two weeks in the ICU, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Tracy’s neurosurgery team successfully performed her first brain surgery.
She now needs our support as she fights daily to stay stable until her next open brain surgery in late January, which is followed by months of rehabilitation--a long road to recovery.
You see, her life's work has been in humble, caring service to others as a loyal friend, healthcare professional, and devoted caregiver. If you know Tracy, you know she's loving, faithful, and peaceful.
Any funds received will go directly to Tracy and be used immediately to supplement her medical care (mounting costs that fall outside insurance coverage) and daily living expenses, as she has been unable to work or care fully for herself since her stroke and aneurysm rupture.
Thank you in advance for doing all you can in positive thought, prayer, and donation. I know that there is still a lot of fight left in her, but she should not have to fight alone.
Again, thank you for your support!
