The world lost a bright spot on February 23rd, 2021 when Tori left this world. Tori touched the lives of so many through her lung cancer advocacy, writing, community involvement, Pointless, neighborhood, schools, and family.
When it became devastatingly apparent that Tori’s time was running short I asked how I could help. In true Tori style her concern was for others, “take care of my family”.
Please help me honor Tori’s wish by contributing and sharing this page in Tori’s memory. Let’s take care of Jason and their three children like Tori asked.

Hi Friends,
Tori needs our help. She has been living with metastatic lung cancer since she was diagnosed in 2013 (after surviving bone cancer as a teen) and her options for treatment are dwindling. Tori is a cancer patient who relies on cutting edge medication and research to help her outlive the original "eight months to live" diagnosis she was given six years ago. She is smart and savvy and clinical trials are her jam. Tori is now starting her third clinical trial drug.
Tori was accepted into a phase 1/2 (meaning a very new medicine) trial for repotrectinib, also called TPX. This medication looks very promising as something that will keep her rare form of lung cancer controlled. However, there is one big problem, this trial is in Colorado. Tori lives in Ann Arbor, MI with her three young children and husband. Since being accepted into this trial they personally pay for Tori's weekly travel to Denver. Tori goes alone while her husband is home with their children (ages 7,7, and 10).
We've done research for financial support on medical charity flights with little success. Please refer to her blog for what has been reviewed thus far. https://lil-lytnin.blogspot.com/
For Tori, surviving means leaving her family and flying across the county alone to give herself more time with them.
Please help her continue to have access to this life saving trial.
Tori will continue to go to Denver weekly through March and then go once a month as long as she remains in the trial for TPX.
