Title: Trione-Annadel State Park Recovery Fund
Let's rebuild, restore, and revitalize the park
Benefitting: Trione-Annadel State Park through the Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park, a not-for-profit organization, (EIN 82-2686083). 100% of funds will used for the benefit of the park.
Story: As many of you know, our beloved Trione-Annadel State Park was devastated by the recent fires. For 12,000 to 13,000 people per month this park has been their primary experience with nature. Nature is a source of healing. For many of us, this park is a place where we take our kids to explore, ride the trails, hike on weekends, and get a peaceful escape from our day to day. Rebuilding the trails and making the park safe again will give people an opportunity to reconnect with nature during this stressful time and create healing.
To help with this effort, we've created a not-for-profit, The Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park. We are actively working with the State Park's management team and the Sonoma County Trails Association to prioritize the restoration projects. To begin with, we will re-establish drainage on key trails ideally ahead of the winter rains. The run-off this season will be especially damaging in the face of post-fire soil erosion. This is only a first objective of the long list of projects to be added.
The Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park, is raising funds to help with projects If you would like to be a part of this effort, please contribute any amount and know that 100% of the proceeds will be put into action exclusively for the park to purchase materials, equipment, and other critical support needed to stabilize and restore the park for years to come.
Many thanks,
