Help for Trisha

Let me first tell you about the person I am raising funds for. Trisha Ten is a remarkable mother, teacher, friend and person. I believe that everyone she has been in contact with fell in love immediately. Trish was diagnosed with a deadly cancer (Leiomyosarcoma). She has had several surgeries and undergone massive doses of Chemo. She recently found out the cancer has spread and see must start chemo again. Trish has 4 beautiful children, one who is a special needs child that she adopted when she was only a single young lady. I am asking friends and family to pass this page on to all fellow teachers and anyone willing to help. She has massive medical bills, personal household obligations, and family responsibilities that she is dealing with alone. Here is part of a letter she recently wrote: This is the letter she wrote me:

Hello my friend--I am writing to you with life changing news. My cancer has metastasized very quickly (in the last 3 months) and I will start chemo on June 1. The doctors are unable to operate as it is to close to the last surgery.
Leiomyosarcoma is a fast spreading and deadly cancer, but I truly believed that I was defying the odds. Now that it has spread so quickly, the oncologist feels that I will either be on active or maintainance chemo, part of a clinical trial, or undergoing surgery for the majority of my life. Knowing this will be the battle of my life, I will possibly be moving back to be near my family. There are also more opportunities to fight this cancer with sarcoma specialists and clinical trials back east. The move will all depend on disability approval after I start chemo and finish this school year. There is a tumor in the right lobe of the liver, one between the liver and the stomach, and one where my kidney used to be (near the resection of the vena cava).
I am sad. I am numb and I didn't want to tell you in a text, but I just don't want to talk about it. I will keep you posted.
