Cheer on & contribute to Trish’s healing journey!

Hi there!
For those of you who may or may not know Trish- she embodies strength, compassion, selflessness, laughter, and a light that can be seen and felt. She is intuitive, curious about life, understanding others and healing herself. She is a sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, colleague, friend and most sacredly our Mom. My brother and I (Aidan & Alexandra) created this fundraiser to help alleviate financial worries so her energy can be focused on healing.
In June 2022, while on a work trip to San Francisco; Trish walked two miles hoping the unbearable pain she was in would pass. She later received news that what was believed to be kidney stones or a hip injury, was unfortunately cancer. A PET scan confirmed two different forms of Stage 4, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma; follicular and diffuse large B cell, aggressive.
For months she thought she was going crazy, experiencing pain in ways she had never felt. She did everything to care for her body; from massage, physical therapy, acupuncture, juice cleansing, and exercise but nothing helped. Blood tests were perfect and she was otherwise in good health. No one had any idea what was happening inside her body.
Our mom has worked on flights all over the world, sharing smiles, kind words, and loving energy that pours life into those around her. In her downtime, you can find her outdoors walking or biking, listening to an audiobook or podcast, in a yoga class, or taking in the Sunrise/Sunset at one of her favorite beaches. She visits her parents for tea time and gives our 82-year-old grandfather his regular haircuts. She loves to travel and truly embraces learning about different cultures, especially about food, dance, and language.
For the past seven months, our mom has been undergoing treatment at Dana Farber hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She’s received six rounds of therapy (R-CHOP) and doctors were hopeful it would respond well. Although it helped reduce the size of the "bright" areas, after a recent PET scan, they recommend proceeding with the next step to treat her cancer.
We are hopeful that with prayers and proper care, she can heal herself indefinitely. We are unsure of the journey ahead but as we continue to pray for her return to optimal health, we also pray for those closest to you- you never know when life will throw you a curveball.
Knowing my mom, she will swing this one out of the park.
As she navigates this next inning, support is extremely appreciated. Since her diagnosis and as her treatment continues she is unable to work. All contributions will be used for medical bills, travel expenses, tests, medications and living expenses.

Thank you for your love, prayers, hope, and light.

Trish extends her gratitude,
xoxo
