Turtle On A Post
Donation protected
My name is Mark and I'm thankful that you have taken the time to read this. I am a full-time nursing student working my way through school by teaching and playing music for a theater company in Central Ohio.
I'm going to spare you the story of my hardships. Suffice to say they sucked and, at times, some of them continue to actively suck. I don't want a pity party nor pity money. Life is hard. It's harder when feel sorry for yourself.
So if not hardship, what am I asking you to base your decision to give on?
Simply put, please give because you know the feeling of falling short on finishing a dream, and you are in a position to stop it from happening for someone else.
I'm asking that you please donate so I can pay for my final class in my music education at Berklee College of Music. That dream, started when I was 16, needs to be finished.
No, I won't get rich because of it. I may not even earn back the total cost. But, I will get to hang a piece of paper on my wall as a reminder of the kindness of friends and strangers. Evidence of a thirty year journey, now complete. Prof a turtle on a slow journey can't get to the top of a post without a hand.
