- About Thrombosis Ireland
The vision of Thrombosis Ireland (TI) is to support and enable people and their families suffering from thrombosis related illness.
The mission is to promote awareness, provide support and save lives.
To achieve its mission, TI provides counselling support services at the individual level of patients, run awareness and education program for patients and medical stuff across all Irish hospitals focusing on location providing anticoagulation services and hospitals undertaking surgery and cancer treatments.
Since its foundation in 2016, Thrombosis Ireland has supported many Irish people with Thrombosis on their journey towards independence. They have worked with the staff of St. James Hospital to develop services and supports, frequently adapting to new challenges, and have a shared belief in the potential of people to lead independent and full lives, in spite of the challenges involved in living with Thrombosis.
