New Hope Orphanage

Hi, my name is Jose Flecha and I am starting this fundraiser for the children that you see pictured. These children are orphans from New Hope Orphanage in a town called Naluwerere, located in the Bugiri District in Uganda. The children were abandoned by their parents either at birth, or a very early age in their life. They now all live together in a small disheveled building that currently makes up the orphanage. The members/volunteers of the orphanage who work hard daily to provide for the children, have run very low on provisions, methods, resources and funds to adequately feed and maintain the children.
The Orphans are currently fed rice daily, and often times have to share and eat off of each others plates, as well as use the same cups for drinking water. They also have limited amounts of clothing and sleep numerously together in one bed; if not having to sleep on the floor.
I, along with the keeper of the Orphanage, Muwayi Bilali, have come to ask for any donations possible that you can give out of the kindness of your heart. We have set a goal of raising 5 Thousand Dollars. This money that you would donate will ensure 2 things: 1) Supply the children with proper food, clothing, house supplies such as shampoo, soap, detergent, and some new furniture. 2) Would allow the orphanage to purchase and own a viable and good size plot of land that will be used to grow crops that will then be used to help sustain the nutrition of the children in the orphanage.
These orphans, although they do not have much, continue to remain happy and hopeful that a change for them will come soon. Any money that you can donate will be contributed towards helping to build a better life for these children. I thank you once again for reading and understanding the situation at hand; and I am sure that you will also be putting an even bigger smile on their faces by helping them out. God Bless.
