MORE support for Tanzania's Children!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Thanks to the overwhelming success of this campaign, we have EXPANDED our goals and would like to KEEP ON GOING with this fundraising effort. Please help us!

Why? Because Unite is in the unique and exciting position to directly and powerfully uplift and change lives across Tanzania. There is no shortage of great grassroots Tanzanian organizations seeking our support, and every dollar from these funds raised will go directly to our joint projects in Tanzania. Please know that Unite is a 100% volunteer team here in America.
 
So... in honor of all the hundreds of millions of mothers on our planet, please consider a gift to help our children living in greatest need. (And, for a fabulous & fun video about what it takes to be a mum, watch this video short: The World's Toughest Job. - Amen!) 

Additional funds raised will be used to:

* Open a library at the Sega Girls School in Morogoro. 

* Launch a first-of-its-kind Girls & Boys Club at the Tumaini Junior School in Karatu to teach lifeskills, sexual health & reproductive education, leadership skills and more.

* Sponsor surgeries and 3-6 month-long rehab stays for children needing orthopaedic surgeries, plastic surgeries (generally for burns) or neurosurgeries at The Plaster House in Arusha.

* Purchase much needed textbooks and supplies for the Jifundishe Community Library in Ngongongare Village. 

WITH FUNDS RAISED TO DATE WE ARE:

1. Renovating and painting the buildings at St. Joseph's Orphanage. (~$1650)
2. Purchashing beds, mattresses, blankets, sheets, pillows and bed nets to service the 43 children of St. Joseph's Orphanage. (~$3,000)
3. Purchasing and installing a comprehensive rain water harvesting and purification system for the St. Joseph's Orphanage. (~$5500)
4. Purchasing and installing solar eletrical systems to bring power to the St. Joseph's Orphanage. (~$4500)
5. Purchasing 200 more chickens for the Matonyok Family Trust Orphanage to empower them a small business income of up to $900 each year. (~$1000)
