Hope for Gaza: Supporting My Family Through Tough Times

Dear compassionate souls,

I'm Aya, reaching out to you because you are my only remaining hope to save my family of 10, who are currently trapped in Gaza, the place that become synonymous with resilience and strength in the face of unimaginable challenges.

For the past 6 Months, my family have been living in the shadows of fear and uncertainty as Gaza endures relentless and devastating bombardment. The once vibrant streets are now filled with echoes of pain, and our homes have become the frontline of a conflict that claims the lives of our family members, friends, and colleagues daily.

On October 7, our lives were shattered. The IDF called my family to evacuate their home in the Gaza Strip. In a desperate bid for survival, they packed what little belongings they had left and evacuated to another place, hoping against hope that the worst was over. Little did they know that this was only the beginning.

We had a beautiful home, which filled our hearts with beautiful memories. This warm home always brought us together with love and contentment.

Now, this house has been destroyed, taking all our beautiful memories with it.

This was not limited to destruction of my family’s home, but also extended to my father’s workplace, my brother’s home, and my sisters’ homes. actually, In our area of residence, there was not a single intact home left.

and now my family are totally displaced and have lost literally everything !

they suffer from hunger, fear and lack of medical and health capabilities. they have no access to electricity and the internet since the beginning of the Israeli aggression.

they even haven't drank in more than 150 days a clean drop.

This is where I turn to you, our global community, with a plea for help and a glimmer of hope. I am initiating a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will allow me to get my family to leave the heart-wrenching aggression that has destroyed Gaza. my goal is to secure the means to relocate my family to a safer place, far from the immediate dangers that surround us.

مرحبًا، أنا آية، الابنة المغتربة لعائلة من غزة، لطالما كانت عائلتي تعيش في منزل جميل، ولديها مصدر دخلها الخاص، و تعيش بسلام، ثم جاء ٧ أكتوبر، وقلب كل شيءٍ رأسًا على عقب.

لقد فقدنا منزل عائلتنا، لم يتبقى هناك أس منزل حرفيًا في منطقة سكننا ( خانيونس )

فقدنا مصدر رزقنا، مكان عمل أبي، وأخي والجميع، لقد أحرقوا كل شيء، ودمروا كل شيء بحقدٍ كبير.

كما ترون في الصورة، حتى حجارة منزلنا لم يتبقى منها شيء!

لولا هذه الظروف القاهرة، ما كنت لجأت لهذه الطريقة لمساعدتي،

حتى أستطيع أن أُخرج أهلي من غزة، أحتاج لكل شخص منهم ٥٠٠٠$ ، للتنسيق عبر معبر رفح

لم نعد نملك المبلغ الكافي، كل ما كان لدى عائلتي قد استهلك بالفعل خلال الحرب وغلاء الأسعار الجنوني،

والآن لا يوجد هناك أي مصدر دخل لهم!

سأكون ممنونة جدًا لكل من سيساعدني في إخراج أهلي من غزة، فهذه السنة الثالثة على التوالي في الغربة، دون لقاء بهم، كان من المفترض أن أجتمع بهم و نحتفل بزفاف أخي في ١١ نوفمبر، ولكن لم يشأ القدر. فأتت الحرب ودمرت كل شيء.
