Handicap-accessible van for Marty Berk
Donation protected
Our dear friend, executive committee member, and fellow furniture industry veteran, Marty Berk, was diagnosed with ALS about a year ago. Medical expenses and in-home care are extremely high, and Marty is no longer able to represent his factories, so his income has ceased. His wonderful fiance and his children are taking care of him, but he now needs more specialized care at home.
Right now, Marty's greatest need is a handicap-accessible van, as he can no longer leave his home without one. The cost for even a used one can range from $25,000 up to as much as $100,000. After months of sheltering-in-place it's easy to understand how much it means to be able to get out of the house!

We don't want to help his family out when he's gone; we want to help NOW and show Marty how very much he means to his family, his friends, IHFRA, and to the home furnishings industry.
Please, please consider even a small donation. Our dollars added together could make a huge difference!
