Help Juliette (Ettie) as she grieves her Mother.

Hi, my name is Susie and I am raising funds to help my dear friend, Juliette Wallace while she is grieving in the wake of her mom's unexpected passing.

As we enter into the holiday season I encourage you to donate what you can, I know it will be especially hard for Ju because she has now lost both of her parents.

let’s throw our arms around her and remind her how loved she is.

Veronica passed suddenly without leaving behind any funds to help take care of her loss.

She is in dire need of help funding not only her mom's memorial and funerary expenses, but her own life as she puts everything on hold to honor the passing and life of her amazing mother, Veronica.

Juliette and her mom both have helped immensely in their communities and touched the lives of everyone lucky enough to have gotten to know them. I am fortunate enough to have known them both and been helped by them at integral times of my life.

I know many people who can say the same.

Veronica opened her home to lots of people over the years and helped encourage myself and others to pursue a life of social justice, art and continual radicalization in politics and important issues.

Veronica leaves behind a masterful collection of artwork that holds historical significance. While incarcerated Veronica painted many pieces that Juliette stands to inherit and intends to preserve. Veronica's life's work deserves to be honored and kept safe. Her story, voice and artistry portray important moments of her life and convey her experiences in an impactful way. Part of your donation will serve to assist as Juliette puts her life on hold to travel out of state and tend to her mother's estate, and any legal fees this may accumulate.

Juliette is a bright light to those around her, she is the best friend anyone could ask for. She carries on her mother's legacy as one of the greatest artists moving through the Seattle scene, always seeking to lift marginalized voices and dedicate herself to helping the causes she holds close. She has employed a multitude of artists, and works tirelessly to amplify those around her. She is a full time, working artist and part of your donation will go towards carrying her as she takes time to grieve.

On weekends Juliette often travels to spend time with her grandmother, who is now her remaining living parent. Part of your donation will ease the financial strain of high cost travel, which is a necessity during these hard times.

There is no easy way to say, but funerary costs are immense and bereavement takes a lot of money to move through. Thank you for your help. Much of what is donated will be put towards a memorial and afterlife care for Veronica.
