Victoria Student Ambassador

My name is Victoria Pinnock-Toliver. I am 13 years old and in the 8th grade. I have an opportunity to go to Europe on an educational, 19-day tour, July 6th - 24th 2013, with the program People To People as a Student Ambassador. I am appealing to you for support to raise the money for this journey.

I was nominated to participate in this program by a teacher in my school. The tour includes visiting England, France and Italy. This is a once in a lifetime exerience, that very few children get to go on. I would be very grateful if you would contribute to this exciting cause. The goal that I have is to raise $7,500. All of the money raised, will go directly towards the People to People Program. The money you contribute will help pay for my tuiton only.

You can contribute as much or as little as you want. You can feel free to contribute a one-time amount, or you can contribute over a period of time. All contributions will make a difference towards the over-all tuition. As people contribute, I will update everyone on the status of my goal as the deadline approaches.

Student Ambassador programs visit schools, experience homestays, absorb world culture through firsthand exploration, meet with government experts, and enjoy unique insider access to significant people and places. Student Ambassadors prepare for this experience well in advance and are asked to keep a daily journal and participate fully in all activities for academic credit. Students build their leadership skills while working as a team with other students and making friends in a well-supervised environment of cultural exploration.
