Help Victoria Morris Get Back To Making Pottery
Donation protected
Beloved Los Angeles native Victoria Morris has been making pottery for over 25 years. In the course of her exploration and dedication to the craft, she's found her niche making work that is both refined and minimalist while allowing space for the subtle variations and imperfections inherent to handmade pottery.
On January 8th, Victoria Morris and her husband Morgan Bateman lost not only their home, but their entire pottery studio/showroom containing years of amassed equipment, tools, glazes, and an entire body of work to the Eaton fire in Altadena–burning both structures to the ground.
Dealing with insurance companies and rebuilding will take an unknown amount of time after the massive scale of this event in Los Angeles, but in the meantime, please help Victoria and Morgan get back to work so they have a means to survive, pay their bills, and bring beauty into this world. All donations to this GoFundMe will directly help them set up a new studio stocked with the equipment and tools necessary to restore their business.
Victoria and Morgan are two of the most generous, warm, and talented individuals and pillars of our community–this is our chance to uplift them in a dire time of need. Any amount helps! Thank you for your consideration.
Love,
The friends and family of Victoria Morris and Morgan Bateman
