Vroom with a view - Sri Lanka '23

Sadly, most of us have been affected and touched in some way by the devastating effects of dementia. There are currently 900,000 people in the UK with dementia and both Ian and Danny from 'Vroom With A View' have relatives suffering with this, or have lost their lives to dementia.

We would like to invite you to join us in trying to make a difference. In October we'll be taking a perilous +650km journey unsupported across Sri Lanka. We'll encounter off road tracks, mountain roads, jungles, elephants, beaches and remote national parks. All of this will be tackled on a rickety rickshaw - a marvel of modern engineering which has just 3 wheels and is powered by a mere 198cc, 4-stroke air cooled engine. What could possibly go wrong?!

As part of this challenge, we're raising money in aid of Alzheimer's Society and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much both of us.

More information about Alzheimer's Society: At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. We don’t want anyone to face the realities of dementia alone. That’s why your support is vital.
