Ripples in the Water

WHAT MATTERS MOST? EVANSVILLE, INC.
Who we are:
What Matters Most? Evansville is a catalyst for creating a community-wide mindfulness of grief, a complex emotion which encompasses any form of loss, not just death. We want to be a ripple in the water, for generations to come and not just in our community, but the world.
What we do:
Establish a consistent, sustainable environment in which individuals are supported in forming ideas, sharing stories, and building connections related to and growing from grief.
The benefit of engaging with us:
Transforming your community to be more receptive to difficult conversations, making it a place you can live well and die well, because you can grieve well, all the losses.
What donations go toward:
Donations help cover cost of our organization being developed, podcasts, speakers, outreach and supporting current and future local projects. This includes, but not limited to: obtaining an outdoor kiosk hosting meaningful card games and historical facts; community art murals and activities; partnering with medical research and education on the relationship of grief and shame and our health; creating community time capsules related to times of collective grief, community events where proceeds go to local artists and entrepreneurs; and much much more!
Podcast: Podcast, River's Fog:
Check out and subscribe to a podcast dedicated to navigating and clearing the hazy fog of grief by sharing inspirational, raw, beautiful and sometimes humorous stories. New episodes drop every Wednesday.
