SAVE WAVERLY BEACH!
'They' are trying to build a sky rise over-bearing Waverly Beach Park, Beach and Friendship Trail.  We are not trying to stop development, we are trying to stop INAPPROPRIATE development!

We are doing what we can to require the Town Building Department to follow the rules that are clearly written in the TOFE Official Plan...  Here and elsewhere in the Town.

So that Our Neighbourhoods are developed in the way WE DECIDE they should be... WE THE PEOPLE who live here... Not the contractors that build and leave...

Most residents of Fort Erie do not know the 'rules' that guide development and the TOFE Building Department is depending on that ignorance to bypass the rules (even to change the 'perception' of the rules).

Further, once the process (development application) passes the Town Council 'fighting' costs FAR TOO MUCH for most people to afford...
And the TOFE KNOWS THIS, so they know if they can get the ball rolling, it'll roll right over ANY objection... EXCEPT if a large enough group of people stand up!

We are LITERALLY fighting for our FUTURE, to be sure our Town is the Town WE CHOSE to live in.

Unfortunately, hiring lawyers and experts costs money and any donation is helpful.   To date I've been funding most of the costs myself.  I mortgaged my home to fight this inappropriate over-reach.

While donations are greatly appreciated, More Important is to join your voice to ours.  Even if we lose THIS battle because we learned too late the things we needed to know...

Our collective voice CAN make a difference in future developments.
