RIP Ramon "Dusty" Garcia Jr.
Dusty is my Uncle and was loved by so many family and friends. He had a personality that made you feel welcomed and definitely was able to make you laugh somehow. He is survived by his Wife Annie Garcia and son Joseph Garcia. He is deeply missed by all of us.
He grew up with 5 brothers and 5 sisters, being the youngest of the brothers and named after his Father. Dusty was a huge Angels & Rams fan and would almost always have an Angels/Rams hat on. He loved horse racing and sports in general. Most others know Ramon "Dusty" by other nicknames, "Tata" & "The Bookie". Dusty was known for hosting weekly NFL football pick em's and Super Bowl squares that would draw big pots due to being well known, respected and trustworthy from friends and family.
Dusty had a strong love for his Wife Annie and his Son Joseph. Dusty and Annie met while Dusty was attending school at Santa Barbara Community College. They would go on to get married and have Joseph Garcia as their beloved Son.
Dusty's love for being a Husband & Father was noticed by all. He was hilarious with his outspoken personality and would be heard teasing Annie in playful ways that made everyone laugh and feel the love between them. He was constantly involved in Joe's life passions and a Father/Son relationship that I would consider the standard for a loving & caring Father. Ramon, Annie & Joe shared great memories together and traveled frequently as a family for vacation and bonding time. They shared a bond that will last an eternity.
Dusty was known for being the family BBQ cook and would always have a joke or 3 to make you smile along with cooking great carne asada, fish bombs, chicken, and hot dogs. Some of the best conversations with Dusty were while he was preparing a feast for all.
Dusty will truly be missed by all who loved him. We love you Dusty and your spirit will always live through those who love you.
