"We Gathered Here" short-film crowdfunding!

Hello to all!

A little less than a year ago, I was able to create a short film called "We Gathered Here" with a wonderful cast and crew. I wanted to tell a story about complex interpersonal connections and internal struggles we fight to endure every day. Through the efforts of my hardworking team, I was able to tell that story.

This experience realized my lifelong dream of filmmaking and affirmed that despite the risk, I choose the career I was destined to pursue.

However, as many know, this endeavor was by no means cost-free. After many months of work, and thousands of dollars spent, the film has yet to feel ready for a wider audience. Festival submissions require money and luck, and "We Gathered Here" needs an infusion of both right now!

Which brings us here! The intent is to recoup the $4,000 of the film's production costs, with an additional $1,000 to pay for post-production touchups and festival submission fees. Any additional funding that goes over the stated goal will go directly to submitting the film to even more film festivals!

In appreciation to all contributors, special thanks will be included in the film's credits if you so desire. Additionally, for those able to give larger contributions, a tiered system of gifts will be decided and offered! So stay tuned for further developments and gift listings.
