Hello everyone, I have created this fundraiser to help Michael Williams, due to an unfortunate incident that occurred at Howard High School on December 2nd, 2021 involving school security, staff and a Howard County police officer.  The school was being terrorized by an individual who initially was thought to be an intruder.  The individual was randomly assaulting other students when Mr. Williams intervened and a struggle ensued.  It took two staff members including Mr. Williams and a Howard County police officer to bring this individual under control. 

After the incident, Mr. Williams was suspended and recently terminated. He was also charged with 2nd Degree Assault.  All of this because he was trying to protect Howard High School and keep the students and staff safe, which he has done every day for the past 15 years. He is now jobless, and he will have to incur legal fees.

 

Mr. Williams has been a pillar in our community for over 40 years. He has worked in our schools, mentored our kids, and has worked tirelessly to keep our schools safe. He has always shown professionalism, courtesy and kindness and is always willing to extend a helping hand.

 

Mr. Williams has given to this community, and now as a community, let's help him.
