We All Need a Little Sunshine in Our Lives

Since the beginning of 2020, we have been dealing with enormous challenges and struggles. Now, two years later, we are still living through them, trying to make sense of everything. In addition to having to adapt to living in a pandemic, other trials that come with life still continue to make their presence.

 

Sunshine was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. Her condition requires daily radiation for five weeks, along with external and internal chemotherapy, and medications that manage the side effects. These medical treatments provide hope, but the costs are high. It's still too early to estimate the total cost of Sunshine's treatment, but she and her husband, Shane, have spent down their finances on medical bills and other associated costs.
