40 Westside Ballet Families Devastated by Los Angeles Fires
Donation protected
The devastation caused by the fires across Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Topanga Canyon, Santa Monica, Hollywood Hills, Altadena, and Los Angeles County is beyond words. Entire communities, including our own, have suffered unimaginable loss.
The Westside Ballet Guild stands with the 40 and counting confirmed families from our community—students, faculty, and alumni—who have lost everything. We are continuing to reach out to ensure no one is overlooked.
In response to this crisis, we are on a mission to raise $100K+ to support the affected families financially.
It is inconceivable to be left with absolutely nothing, to start all over.
The schools, parks, and homes that created meaning in the lives of our families are gone. Clothing, memorabilia, photographs, books, and furniture passed down through generations… gone.
As our families struggle to find stability, one mother remarked, “Our ballet community is all my daughter has left of normal—it’s the same for so many kids who have lost their homes.”
We are all in shock, but we are doing everything we can to raise money for these families.
We ask you, please, to donate. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. This is a time to come together with love, strength, and the unwavering support of our community.
If you or someone you know has been impacted, please reach out.
Together, we can begin healing. Please share this with anyone and everyone❤️
