KIM GREENE'S Flood Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Our names are Craig and Sandi Plotner, and we live in central Kansas.  Kim Greene is the daughter of a friend (Ramona Stalcup Greene). Ramona and Craig met in 6th grade in Tucson, Arizona.....a lot of years ago! Kim was the person who was rescued by the diabetic man, Paul Moya.

You may have seen Kim on TV when she was interviewed in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia during the horrid flood they experienced there.  Like so many, Kim lost everything in the flood.  She lives alone....no kids, just a 2 cats she was able to take up to the roof while she waited for help.  In the photo it is obvious how high the water came....and clearly anything under that mark (which means most everything) was ruined (or floated away). With nothing left but 'need', we are wanting to help her get a new grip on life.  She needs the essentials ~~ the things we take for granted that cost a bunch when they are all purchased at once!  She needs to get back to her job,  so clothing and transportation are her first concern.  Finding a new place to rent and furniture, kitchen items, a bed and linens will be next. Presently staying with family in another town, she really needs to get her life back. $10,000 won't cure all her problems, but it will help relieve the immediate pressure.

Lifelong friendships are precious and we treasure them.  The children of our friends get wrapped in that treasure of love.  Because of this, we are wanting to help however we can.  Please help us help her!

Thank you for any donation you can spare.  So many people are displaced, but when you know someone more directly, it becomes personal (there's that 6 degrees of separation).

Like the man throwing starfish back in the ocean....it certainly matters to the one who is saved.  We're trying to pay it forward as best we can.  Can you pay it forward as well?
