Support William Hayward's Family After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
William “June” Hayward was a man whose heart and spirit touched everyone he met. A devoted father to his two bright-eyed boys, a loving son, a supportive brother, and a compassionate friend, he was known for his kindness, hard work, and a smile that lit up every room. He lived for his children—they were his world—and his love for them was boundless.
Yet, behind that radiant smile, William carried a pain none of us could see. In the weeks before his tragic passing, he silently struggled with leaving a toxic and abusive relationship, his inner peace fading, leaving us with heartbreaking questions: Why didn’t we see it? How could we have missed his suffering?
His sudden and unexpected loss has left his family—his sons, mother, father, grandmother, siblings and best friends—shattered and in disbelief. William was the cornerstone of his family’s life, and the future he was building has been stolen. Now, his young boys are left without their sole provider—the love, support, and guidance of their father, and we, as a family, are grappling with the reality of raising them without him.
This GoFundMe page is set up not only to help support William’s family during this devastating time but also to bring awareness to the silent epidemic of suicide and the toxic effects of unhealthy relationships. Too often, permanent decisions are made in moments of unbearable pain, and the ripples of that choice impact generations to come. William’s death is a heartbreaking reminder that, even in the darkest times, there is hope.
Desmond and De’Arron, his two boys, will carry the weight of their father’s loss for the rest of their lives. Their grief is profound, and their questions remain unanswered. We ask for your support, whether by sharing this page or contributing, to help ease their burden and honor William’s memory.
To anyone out there who may feel like they are in a hopeless situation, please know—there is hope. Please reach out. Speak to someone. Your life holds immeasurable value, and you don’t have to face your struggles alone.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and for helping us honor William’s life.
