#WirfuerWilli - Willi needs to move back to the Ranch!

„Willi hat Leukämie, Ihr müsst sofort 112 anrufen, er muss schnellstens ins Krankenhaus“ das waren die Worte der befreundeten Ärztin die das Leben von Willi‘s kleiner Familie am Vorabend von Weihnachten innerhalb von Sekunden auf den Kopf stellen sollten.

Seit dem 23. Dezember liegt Willi nun auf der Intensivstation und kämpft um sein Leben. Willi hat tatsächlich Leukämie…und zwar eine sogenannte akute Leukämie…dabei verschlechtert sich der Zustand der Kinder rasend schnell und unbehandelt führt die Erkrankung innerhalb weniger Wochen zum Tod.

Willi ist ein außerordentlich fröhlicher kleiner Junge, er ist gerade erst 4 Jahre alt geworden (sein Geburtstag fiel aber auch schon der Krankheit zum Opfer, nur dass wir es da alle noch nicht einmal ahnten, alle dachten er hat einen Infekt…immerhin sind ja viele Kinder gerade blass und krank…). Willi wohnt mit seinen Eltern Pola und Etienne auf der Airbase Ranch in Neuruppin, gemeinsam mit 80 Pferden…die kleine Familie ist Herz und Seele der Ranch, sie und ihr Team kümmern sich um alle Pferde und ihre Besitzer dort hingebungsvoll und mit viel Sachverstand und Liebe. Willi ist das was man einen Sonnenschein nennt…immer fröhlich…immer draußen…immer aktiv irgendwo auf der Ranch am Spielen und nimmt jeden Tag am Ranchleben teil…Jungpferde, Training für Reiter und Pferde, Fohlen kommen auf die Welt, es gibt immer was zu tun …vormittags besucht er das Montessori Kinderhaus in Neuruppin, dort macht er tolle Ausflüge und lernt viele spannende Sachen gemeinsam mit seinen Freunden. Jeder kennt Willi…auch auf den Shows auf denen Willi und seine Familie über den Sommer häufig unterwegs sind, ist Willi jedem bekannt…man muss ihn einfach lieb haben, wenn er fröhlich mit seinem Laufrad um die Ecke geschossen kommt, oder auch mal ganz lieb in einer Ecke sitzt und mit seinen Dinos und Treckern spielt, während seine Eltern Pferde vorstellen und Kunden betreuen. Willi‘s Familie lebt für die Pferde und den Sport…auch Willi liebt die Pferde…er hat ein eigenes kleines Pony namens „Tuckmal“ und auch das Erfolgspferd seiner Mama, der „berühmte“ Ace hat einen festen Platz in seinem Herzen. Am meisten liebt Willi aber das Leben auf der Ranch…er buddelt und baggert, er räumt und baut…er fährt mit seinem Papa auf dem Trecker. Willi liebt die Ranch…

Willi ist aktuell in besten Händen und wird in der Kinderonkologie im Helios Klinikum Schwerin von Herrn Prof. Dr. Dr. Aram Prokop und seinem fantastischen Team behandelt. Er bekommt Bluttransfusionen, sein Zustand war äußerst lebensbedrohlich, aber er konnte zwischenzeitlich etwas stabilisiert werden, sein Knochenmark wurde punktiert, sein Hirnwasser wurde untersucht…in einer OP hat er einen Langzeit Katheter gesetzt bekommen. Aktuell benötigt er keine Stammzellenspende, aber jede Registrierung ist ein Mehrwert, also lasst Euch registrieren. Während noch Labor und Gentests laufen, haben die tollen Ärzte schon mit der Chemotherapie begonnen.

Wenn Willi in einigen Wochen und Monaten im Rahmen der Therapie für die ersten Male wieder nach Hause kommen darf, müssen die Bedingungen Zuhause ganz besonderen Ansprüchen genügen…so keimfrei wie möglich, die Möglichkeit die Umwelteinflüsse draußen zu lassen…viel saubere Raumluft und vieles mehr… besondere Hygiene ist im Rahmen der Chemotherapie ein absolutes Muss…nur wenn wir das möglich machen können, kann Willi zurück auf die Ranch…, kann Willi gesund werden…dafür muss das kleine Haus der Familie komplett umgekrempelt…eigentlich neu gebaut werden…wir stehen hier als Team (Ranchfamilie, Freunde, Nachbarschaft, Familie) ganz fest zusammen hinter Willi und seiner Familie…wir versorgen die Pferde und halten die Ranch am Laufen, aber für diese Aufgabe…Willi ein sicheres Umfeld zu schaffen, brauchen wir die Unterstützung von jedem Einzelnen.

Wir brauchen Eure Hilfe, damit Willi zurück auf die Ranch ziehen kann…in sein Zuhause!!

“Willi has leukaemia, you have to call 112 immediately, he has to go to the hospital as soon as possible". These were the words of the doctor friend who, within seconds on Christmas Eve, was to turn the life of Willi's little family upside.

Willi has been in intensive care since December 23rd, fighting for his life. Willi really does have leukaemia...acute leukemia no less. A condition where children deteriorate rapidly and if left untreated, the disease leads to death within a few weeks.

Willi is an extraordinarily happy little boy, he has only just turned 4 years old (his birthday fell victim to the illness, only that at the time, none of us even suspected it, everyone thought he had an infection... after all, there are many Children that can look pale and sick…). Willi lives with his parents Pola and Etienne on the Airbase Ranch in Neuruppin, together with 80 horses... the small family is the heart and soul of the ranch, they and her team take care of all the horses and their owners there with dedication and a lot of expertise and love. Willi is what you call a ray of sunshine...always happy...always outside...always active playing somewhere on the ranch and participating in ranch life every day...young horses, training for riders and horses, foals are born, there's always something to do ...in the morning he visits the Montessori children's home in Neuruppin, where he goes on great trips and learns lots of exciting things together with his friends. Everyone knows Willi… even at the shows where Willi and his family often travel over the summer… you just have to love him when he comes happily darting around the corner on his balance bike, or sometimes just sitting in a corner playing with his dinosaurs and tractors while his parents show horses and look after customers. Willi's family live for horses and the sport...Willi also loves horses...he has his own little pony called "Tuckmal" and his mother's successful horse, the "famous" Ace, has a permanent place in his heart. But what Willi loves most is life on the ranch...he digs and digs, he clears and builds...he drives the tractor with his dad. Willi loves the ranch...

Willi is currently in the best of hands and is being looked after by Prof. Dr. dr Aram Prokop and his fantastic team. He gets blood transfusions, his condition was extremely life-threatening, but he was able to be stabilised somewhat in the meantime, his bone marrow was punctured, his cerebrospinal fluid was examined... he had a long-term catheter inserted via an operation. Currently he does not need a stem cell donation, but every registration is an added value, so register yourself. While the lab and genetic tests are still ongoing, the amazing doctors have already started chemotherapy.

When Willi is allowed to come home for the first time in a few weeks or months as part of the therapy, the conditions at home must meet very special requirements...as germ-free as possible, the possibility of leaving the environmental influences outside...plenty of clean room air and much more... special hygiene is an absolute must in the context of chemotherapy... only if we can make that possible, can Willi go back to the ranch... can Willi get well... for this the small family house has to be completely turned inside out... actually rebuilt... we're standing here as a team (ranch family, friends, neighbourhood, family) firmly together behind Willi and his family...we take care of the horses and keep the ranch running, but for this task...to create a safe environment for Willi, we need the support of each individual .
