Kathy Purnell started her career with U.S. Xpress as a temporary employee in April, 2010 and has worked her way up to the position of Detention Manager where Kathy is admired for her hard work and dedication.
Kathy was first diagnosed with colon cancer in September, 2015. As the primary source of income for her family, Kathy worked as much as possible as she bravely battled and beat colon cancer. Unfortunately, Kathy was recently given the news that she now has liver cancer. Kathy had already accumulated a considerable amount of medical bills from her initial battle with cancer, but now will face additional expenses with her new diagnosis.
Kathy is a wife and mother of three including to a special needs daughter. Thru this campaign our goal is to take part of the stress of the financial burdens off of Kathy as she tries to once again kick cancer's butt. Kathy's GoFundMe campaign is being sponsored by U.S. Xpress thru the company's Xpress Cares program. U.S. Xpress will be matching up to the first $1,500 raised thru this campaign.
