Yaqui Families COVID-19 Relief Fund

Donation protected
Yaqui families in communities such as Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy and Marana have reached out to Augustine Lopez (Pascua Yaqui Tribe Tribal Member) for help during the COVID-19 pandemic. These Yaqui families are in dire need of basic necessities such as hygiene items and food. Traditionally, Yaqui family households consists of each generation - from elderly to infant. It is these households that are greatly impacted by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and need to remain socially-distanced.

Augustine has helped mobilize other community and tribal members to get basic necessities on behalf of beneficiary families. The funds from this campaign will be used to make direct purchases based off of the beneficiary family's needs, and to ensure that the beneficiary families remain socially distanced for the sake of their children, elders, and disabled family members.

Please note, although the Pascua Yaqui Tribe has a reservation in Tucson, the reservation size is small,  which is why tribal members are dispersed in towns and communities in the Phoenix-area and in between Phoenix and Tucson.

Anything helps because it is the small things that we can all contribute that can positively impact these families.

We hope you can help us! Every donation counts.
