Zachary Jelks Scholarship Fund

The sudden passing of our beloved Isaiah Malloy Jelks has left many asking how they can help the family. The family is appreciative of the many prayers and expressions of condolences and sympathy by those whose lives Isaiah touched so deeply.

Isaiah was the son every parent wished for. He is remembered by those who loved him as being respectful, charitable, mature, committed, and most of all, loyal. Isaiah was a quiet force, and after his mother died, he stepped in wherever he could to help his father and younger brother, Zachary. His maturity during this transition was remarkable.

At the time of his death, Isaiah was a sophomore student at Kennesaw State University (KSU). As younger brothers often do, Zachary will be following in Isaiah's footsteps and attending KSU this Fall 2018.

Education is a cornerstone of the Jelks household, and there is no better way to honor Isaiah's memory than by contributing to Zachary's college fund. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers and other donations, a memorial contribution can be made through GoFundMe for Zachary's college education.
