Zeiger Kids-Education & Well Being

Hi, my name is Paul Zeiger.  I'm 54 years old and on April 15, 2015 I was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer.  The Pancreatic Cancer is in my liver, vertebrae and lymph nodes.  My wife  Jennifer Lynas Zeiger and I were caught completely off guard as my only complaint was severe heartburn.  Now I need to figure out the next steps for my wife Jennifer and our three children, Colin (9), Liam (7) and Finley (5).  We have been fortunate up to this point to have enough savings to pay for COBRA Medical Coverage, prescription/medical costs and our mortgage but we've come to the end of our savings and must now ask for help.  

Jennifer was let go from her job a month before my diagnosis.  In some ways her job loss was a blessing as we have been able to spend some amazing time together as a family and reconnect as husband and wife. But again without a steady income we are unable to keep up with our bills. My wife is there for every one of my chemotherapy session, every doctors appointment, every scan and MRI.  Jennifer is there when the kids ask why is daddy sick, what is cancer, why is daddy in the hospital again and will he get better.  

I am asking for help for my family.  I cannot leave them with the possibility of losing our home.  I want our children to be able to stay in the home Jennifer and I have created for them in New Milford.  My passing will be hard enough, I don't want my babies to have to leave their home as well.  

We have been blessed with thoughts and prayers from our family and friends.
