I am Rev. W. Edward Mitchell, Jr., Ph.D., our church has been broken into last night, after the City of Miami Police filed a vandalism and theft of the church van and it's batteries twice this week.  Last night, after the City of Miami Crime Scene and I had left the premises, someone came back, broke into the church and stole computers, checkbooks, Boise speakers and trashed every room.

We have been reaching out to pre-teens and our teenagers to guide them in making good choices; to not chose gangs; to not get involved in gun violence!  We have a strong Christian Education Department, and even our Senoirs.  Our church is celebrating its 58th anniversary and we have members who are in their 80s plus and all they have is this church. This is what they've invested in.  God is our witness, we have tried to intercede for our city and intervene in the lives of our citizens!  We are God's Light House in Liberty City, and though the lamp is blighted, I believe, philantrophic people and God loving people will give into our efforts to restore what has been destroyed.  We don't have insurance on the facility, due to a motor vehicle crashing into the church on Thanksgiving night, 2014, and our insurance cancelled; didn't pay, and neither the kid's parents driving the car had any insurance.  That is in litigation and has been for going for two years!  I am especially thankful to all who give, because I know you recognize the need and the work that we are doing!  God speed to you and God Bless you!  Thank You for your assistance!
