Help Zion Harris Continue His Education at Curley!

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,
My name is Neshaun Coleman, and I am reaching out to our community today with a heartfelt plea for assistance. I am writing to you today as the proud mother of Zion Harris, an ambitious and talented young man and rising sophomore seeking sponsorships for his unpaid tuition balance at Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore, MD.
Since the beginning of Zion’s freshman year, I have witnessed an incredible transformation in him academically, emotionally, and socially. He has flourished as a result of the school's nurturing environment, dedicated educators, and faith-based education, and I firmly believe that his continued education at Archbishop Curley will pave the way for a bright and successful future.
What sets Zion apart is not only his dedication to his studies but also his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Zion is a football player and wrestler at Archbishop Curley, and his kindness and respect are qualities that shine both on and off the field. He actively participates in community outreach initiatives, including training other youth and coaching youth football. Additionally, Zion selflessly dedicates his time to the Rosedale Football and Cheer team in Maryland, where he helps clean up after games - embodying the spirit of Archbishop Curley and our values at home.
However, I find myself facing immense financial challenges that threaten to interrupt Zion’s educational journey at Archbishop Curley. As a single parent of two, I have recently experienced a series of hardships that have profoundly impacted our lives. In August 2021, my eldest son became disabled due to Behcet's disease, rendering him unable to work. As a result, I have taken on the responsibility of financially supporting him and caring for Zion and myself. To compound matters, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in January 2022, significantly reducing my ability to work full-time and earn a steady income. I supplement my earning by doing Instacart and DoorDash, but it has been an uphill battle to make ends meet. Zion’s father tragically passed away in August 2014, and while his paternal family does what they can to assist us, resources are limited. The financial strain caused by these circumstances has left us with an unpaid tuition balance that we are struggling to cover.
I humbly reach out to our wider community today in the hopes that we can rally together to support Zion’s dreams and aspirations. Your generosity will help alleviate our financial burden and reaffirm Zion’s belief in the power of community and the value of education. By contributing to Zion's unpaid tuition balance, you are investing directly in his future, enabling him to continue receiving a high-quality education at Archbishop Curley.
Every donation, no matter the size, will tremendously impact our lives. If you find it in your heart to help Zion, please consider contributing to the due date of July 28. Your kindness will bring hope and relief to our family during these challenging times.
To donate, please visit our GoFundMe campaign page https://www.gofundme.com/manage/Zions-Continued-Education-at-Curley. If you are unable to contribute financially, we understand entirely, but we kindly request that you share this campaign with your networks and spread the word about Zion's story.
On behalf of Zion and our entire family, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your consideration and support. Your belief in Zion's potential and your willingness to stand by us during this challenging period mean more to us than words can describe. Together, let's ensure Zion can continue his education journey at Archbishop Curley, where he can grow into the compassionate and influential leader that I know he can become.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With sincere gratitude,
Neshaun Coleman
