Nancy McFolling and Hilary Barnes is the organizer.

This is Zoe Grace. She should be getting her driver’s permit when she turns 15 ,on March 4, 2023. It’s a day she’s been excitedly counting down to for months , but, instead, she is in the PICU, where we are praying she will simply walk and talk again someday, hopefully soon.

Zoe is truly even more beautiful inside than out. With a heart of gold, she once tried to give her piggy bank to a loved one when they were having a difficult time, so she would be the first to help someone else in her situation.
She serves in the children's ministry at her church, has been a Girl Scout since she was in the 1st grade, and she just started running track as a freshman in high school. She deeply loves and is loved by many, which has been evident by the thoughts and prayers she’s received since the moment this tragic turn in her young life occurred.

After going to the ER about a little vomiting for a day and a half, doctors discovered a large brain tumor on her brain stem. Emergency efforts were immediately made to reduce fluid and swelling on her brain. A day later she had to be prematurely rushed into surgery to remove the tumor, when hopes of waiting for swelling to reduce were thwarted by unstable vitals.
The tumor was successfully removed, but, when she was finally stable enough to get through an MRI, they discovered that the swelling had caused several injuries to her brain, including herniation of the brain.

Zoe is a fighter, and, despite the odds, she has started to show small signs of improvement that doctors weren’t sure she’d have.
It is going to be a long, difficult battle, but we have faith in Zoe and in God that she will continue to heal, to walk and talk again, and one day go home with us.

More than money, we need your prayers, but, even though her single mother doesn’t like to ask for help, we are asking for her, because Zoe is going to need a lot of medical assistance, the extent of which is still undetermined, but, minimum, we are looking at a long hospital stay and months of rehab. Minimum.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and donations to help in Zoe’s recovery/ so her mother can focus on her daughter and not bills.
God bless!
